The guestrooms at Kongressikoti Hotel were absolutely amazing! The elegant furnishings made me feel like I was staying in a fancy mansion. And let me tell you, the free WiFi was a lifesaver for me as a business traveler.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of shared bathrooms, but I understand that some people may find it perfectly fine.

Location: the hotel was just next door to the attractions and the port of viking line and Silijia line, and the city centre and railway station. The rooms were individual and tidy with smoke detectors for our safety.

The location of the hostel was excellent: in the heart of the city and close to the train station which was the main reason for us to stay.
We booked a double room, but given a twin room upon our arrival. They gave double room right away when we asked, so it was not a problem. The room, bathroom, and the toilet were in 'ok' condition, but they need some renovation through the hostel, I think. The fridge was in the room but not plugged and I don't know if it is working. Kitchen was too small with a table for 4 and was not enough space for everyone to have breakfast.

I chose this hotel for attending a business forum and it provided a cozy and comfortable stay. The interior was super cute and authentic, and the kitchen facilities were convenient for my self-catering needs. The staff was helpful and the location was great, near the center of Helsinki and the train station.
The only service I missed for my work was a dedicated workspace or desk in the room. Other than that, my stay at the hotel was enjoyable and met my expectations.

Loved the communal balcony and selection of magazines in the hallway. The safety features will surely make you feel safe, unless you enjoy living dangerously, of course. The hotel is conveniently close to Helsinki Central Station, in case you have a sudden urge to catch a train.
Such a shame that pets and service animals aren't allowed, I was really hoping to bring my pet penguin along.

Excellent location, beautiful view from my window over the rooftops, morning coffee...
I could hear every sound from the corridor to the room, so I recommend earplugs.

Late check-out permitted, cozy atmosphere. Good location.
There was 1 wc and bath to be shared by guests on the entire floor. The men's wc was not working so they had to use the ladies' wc. WiFi cannot be reached from the room. Building and hotel is quite old, and rooms look quite run down though linen is new and clean.

The location of the hotel was great, right next to Helsinki Cathedral, Market Square, city center, and the harbor. The large guest room with a fridge was very comfortable. The fridge and glassware in the room worked perfectly.

The guestrooms at Kongressikoti Hotel are really cozy and comfortable. I loved how elegantly they were furnished and it made me feel right at home. The hair dryer was a lifesaver, and the blackout drapes helped me get a great night's sleep. Plus, the free WiFi was a big bonus for staying connected with my friends and family.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of shared bathrooms. But hey, that's just me.
